Terms of Service
These Terms govern your download, installation, access to, and use of BeginTeleprompter and its website.
1. Acceptance
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using BeginTeleprompter (the “App”) or the website (together, the “Services”), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services. This agreement is with Beijing Zaomeng Shidai Technology Co., Ltd. and does not limit mandatory consumer rights where you live.
2. The Services
BeginTeleprompter may provide voice-following teleprompter display, an in-App native camera experience, video recording, full and floating in-App camera previews, independent full-screen prompting, script management, recording playback and sharing, and controls for font size, line spacing, alignment, and text width.
3. Eligibility and Device Access
You must be legally able to accept these Terms. A minor must obtain parental or guardian agreement where required. The App does not require an account. You are responsible for your device, Apple ID, storage, permissions, system settings, and activities performed through your copy of the App.
4. Your Scripts, Recordings, and Responsibilities
You retain the rights you lawfully hold in scripts, videos, audio, and other material you create or provide. You are responsible for obtaining all permissions, notices, and consents required to record, display, store, export, or share people or third-party material. The App does not grant rights in content owned by others.
5. Acceptable Use
You may not use the Services to violate law, privacy, intellectual-property rights, confidentiality duties, or contracts; record without legally required notice or consent; distribute unlawful or harmful content; bypass system permissions or security controls; introduce malicious code; interfere with the Services; impersonate another person; or resell the Services without permission.
6. Voice Following and Recording Accuracy
Speech recognition and cue matching are automated and may contain errors, delays, missed words, or unexpected jumps. Results vary with language, accent, audio quality, noise, device, system speech resources, and script structure. Camera quality, frame rate, stabilization, and recording behavior also depend on device capability, available storage, permissions, and operating-system behavior. Review important recordings before relying on or publishing them.
7. Free Service
The App is provided free of charge, without an account, membership, subscription, or in-app purchase. You remain responsible for the cost of your device, Apple ID, internet or mobile data, and third-party services you choose to use. If the business model changes, we will provide clear notice where reasonably possible and will not treat you as having accepted a paid subscription you did not clearly choose.
8. License and Intellectual Property
We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, and revocable license to use the App for its intended purpose under these Terms and applicable store rules. The App software, design, brand, documentation, website, and non-user content belong to us or our licensors.
9. Apple Services and Privacy
The Services rely on Apple for App distribution, device frameworks, system permissions, speech resources, and sharing. Apple services are subject to Apple’s terms and privacy policy, and we do not control their availability. Our Privacy Policy explains how the App handles information and forms part of these Terms.
10. Changes, Availability, and Termination
Features vary by device, operating system, App version, language, region, and Apple platform support. We may update, limit, or discontinue a feature for product, security, technical, legal, platform, or compatibility reasons. You may stop using the Services at any time by deleting the App.
11. Disclaimers and Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without a guarantee that voice following or recording will always be uninterrupted, error-free, perfectly accurate, compatible with every device or language, or permanently available. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of content, data, profits, opportunities, or publication results. Liability that cannot legally be excluded remains unaffected.
12. Governing Law and Contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China, subject to mandatory consumer law where you live. A competent court in Beijing may hear an unresolved dispute unless applicable law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue. Where legally permitted, the English version prevails in a conflict between translations without limiting mandatory local rights. Questions can be sent to support@miremire.com.
