Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use BeginTeleprompter and its website.
1. Introduction
BeginTeleprompter (the “App”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is provided by Beijing Zaomeng Shidai Technology Co., Ltd. This policy covers the App and the BeginTeleprompter website. The App is designed to work without an account and without collecting personal information through an BeginTeleprompter backend.
2. Content Processed on Your Device
The App processes scripts you create, script language, camera and microphone input, speech-recognition results, video recordings, and teleprompter settings only to provide prompting and recording features. Scripts, settings, and recordings are stored in the App’s private storage on your device.
3. No App Data Collection
The current App has no account system, advertising SDK, third-party analytics SDK, tracking technology, subscription, in-app purchase, or BeginTeleprompter server. It does not upload your scripts, recognized speech text, raw microphone audio, camera feed, or recordings to us. Apple’s App Privacy manifest for the current version declares no collected data types and no tracking.
4. Camera, Microphone, and Speech Recognition
Camera access is used to preview and record video. Microphone access is used to record sound and provide voice-following prompts. Apple system speech technologies produce recognition results for on-device cue matching. Cue matching runs on your device and does not send script or recognized text to us.
5. Local Storage and Recovery
Scripts and preferences remain on your device until you delete them, clear App data, or uninstall the App. Recordings and limited recovery files are managed in private App storage. Interrupted recordings may temporarily remain recoverable or quarantined until the App completes recovery or cleanup.
6. Permissions and Your Choices
The App requests camera, microphone, and speech-recognition permissions only when related features need them. You can refuse or revoke a permission in system settings, but the related feature may stop working. Sharing or exporting a recording occurs only when you choose a system share or export action.
7. Apple Platform Services
Apple provides App distribution, system permissions, camera and audio frameworks, speech resources, storage APIs, and system sharing. Apple may process information under its own privacy policy and platform terms. Some speech resources may need to be downloaded by the operating system.
8. Website and Support
The website does not use advertising cookies or a third-party product-analytics script. Hosting and security providers may automatically process standard request logs, such as IP address, device or browser type, requested URL, response status, request time, and security signals, to deliver and protect the website. If you contact us, we process only the message, contact details, attachments, and diagnostic information you choose to provide.
9. Sharing, Sale, and Advertising
We do not sell personal information, use your content for advertising or model training, or share App content with data brokers. Information may be disclosed only when you direct a system share, when needed to answer your support request, when required by law, or to protect users and the integrity of the Services.
10. Security and Retention
We use reasonable safeguards for the website and support channels. App content remains under the security of your device and operating system. Support messages and website security logs may be kept only as reasonably needed to respond, protect the service, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. No storage or transmission method is completely secure.
11. Your Rights and Children’s Privacy
You can delete scripts and recordings in the App, manage permissions in system settings, clear App data, or uninstall the App. Because the App has no account or backend content store, we normally have no server-side App content to access or delete. The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
12. Changes and Contact
We may update this policy if product behavior, providers, or legal requirements change. If the App begins collecting information or sending content to a network service, we will update the App disclosure and this policy before that processing begins where required.
